Staying productive while balancing family and work demands isn’t easy. It’s especially tough to create a structured schedule in the wake of the pandemic, which has changed everyone’s work lives and daily routines. In spite of the new challenges, it’s possible for parents to successfully juggle an impactful career and a fun, fulfilling family life. With the right mindset and discipline, a better quality of life is possible.

Sometimes it’s helpful to follow the tips of inspiring leaders who make work-life balance look simple. Famous figures like Barack Obama and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are great examples of dads who make the most of family time while excelling professionally. For example, Obama schedules family dinners in his calendar, treating that time as a meeting he can’t miss. Meanwhile, The Rock wakes up before dawn every day to accomplish his personal goals, allowing more time for his family later in the day.

Small habits add up to a happier and more productive week. Maybe it’s trying a standing desk set-up, a new productivity hack, taking a walk on your lunch break, or simply hugging your kids more often. The graphic below points out some actionable tips for improving your work-life balance and mental well-being while working remotely.
